About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for screening orders, specializing in research, review and entry of prescription overrides
- Ensure patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner
- Direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification
- Meet specified production and quality standards as defined by the management team
- Perform other pharmacy functions as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides
- Minimum of 1 year related pharmacy technician experience
- Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Data Entry experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs
