About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to contractual agreements with partners for goods and services acquisition or leasing
- Procure products required for operations by planning and coordinating with suppliers
- May be responsible for sub-specialties, such as strategic procurement, asset management, etc.
- Lead development projects and complex strategic initiatives
- Analyze needs and develop strategies/action plans
- Represent Desjardins before decision-making bodies regarding major agreements with suppliers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant strategic procurement experience
- Experience in IT
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
