About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the single voice of vehicle architecture, uniting Engineering Functions, Manufacturing, and Studio
- Lead collaboration among stakeholders to deliver Decision Fixed Points (DFPs) and compartment integration
- Drive Total Vehicle Integration and Execution Efficiency
- Own the Decision-Making process and guide Integration
- Foster a culture of shared knowledge and encourage embracing lessons learned
- Lead efforts in discovering efficiencies and streamlining processes
- Develop a strong team focused on Best-In-Class Integration
- Communicate program status and advocate for Occupant Accommodations
- Optimize BOM re-use and support Design surface development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or other relevant degree
- 10 Years of relevant engineering experience
- Knowledge in CAD systems
- Experience running Vis and knowledge of math processes
- Expertise in program execution and balancing requirements
- Deep knowledge of GVDP
- Comprehensive understanding of GM's global vehicle engineering efforts
- Proven ability to optimize vehicle design at a holistic level
- Strong capability to collaborate with global partners
- High level of full vehicle knowledge to drive enterprise solutions
- Strong business acumen across various business sides
- Strong benchmarking capabilities for decision making
