About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyzing inventory data to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete materials.
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Developing and maintaining reports on materials usage, forecasts, and supply chain performance metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in materials management or supply chain analysis with a strong focus on inventory control and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to evaluate materials usage and forecast demand accurately.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle to manage inventory and procurement workflows effectively.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and materials planning methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
