About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a Field Service Engineering team for the Honeywell Process Solutions organization
- Improve team performance
- Ensure engagement in new opportunities for market penetration, team deployment, and sales growth
- Liaise with multiple factions to help prevent and resolve customer problems
- Explore additional revenue-generating opportunities
- Drive and improve metric reporting procedures
- Own financial metrics, targets, and budgets
- Define team expectations and communicate those to stakeholders
- Act as mentor to train and develop future managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-Secondary Education in Engineering, Trades or Technology
- 7+ years’ experience in Industrial Automation and Process Control industry
- 5+ years' experience in a Lead or Manager capacity
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pulp and Paper experience highly valued
- QCS & DCS experience highly valued
- Strong business acumen
- Entrepreneurial mindset an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team
- Previous customer service experience
