About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end‑to‑end management of strategic IT vendors, including onboarding, performance management, renewals, and exits, to ensure reliable and cost‑effective technology services.
- Establish and govern vendor performance through SLAs, KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with IT service owners, sourcing, procurement, finance, and legal teams to align vendor strategies with business and technology roadmaps.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate vendor‑related risks, including operational, financial, cybersecurity, and compliance risks, in alignment with enterprise policies.
- Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions to optimize cost, value, and service outcomes across the vendor portfolio.
- Drive standardization of vendor management processes, tools, and reporting across Technology Services.
- Lead and develop vendor management team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Provide executive‑level insights and reporting on vendor performance, risks, and financials to IT and business leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in IT, vendor management, sourcing, or technology services, with demonstrated accountability for vendor performance and outcomes.
- Proven experience managing strategic IT vendors in a global or matrixed enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of IT service delivery models, including managed services, cloud, infrastructure, and application services.
- Experience working with IT service management frameworks, metrics, and performance reporting (e.g., ITSM concepts, SLAs, KPIs).
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
