About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage site Safety and Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety policies, procedures, and management systems.
Serve as the site subject ‑ matter expert for PSM, including hazard analysis, management of change, incident investigation, and mechanical integrity.
Partner with site leadership, engineering, and operations to proactively identify and mitigate safety risks.
Lead safety audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions; ensure timely closure of findings and corrective actions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field.
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), with direct responsibility for Process Safety Management in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA PSM standards and related regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to lead investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action programs.
Experience influencing senior leaders and cross ‑ functional teams to drive safety performance.
