About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You implement sales strategies for our endoprosthetic products — with a focus on shoulder reconstruction to strengthen and expand our market position
- You routinely attend endoprosthetic procedures on-site and support the OR team with the practical application of our products
- You independently plan and conduct trainings and educational sessions for clinical staff
- You identify potential customers and take an active role in acquiring new clients
- You actively and efficiently manage external inventory in hospitals to optimize availability and cost
- You leverage your product and customer knowledge to build and maintain collaborative relationships with hospitals and decision-makers
- You analyze customer needs and develop optimal solutions together with customers and internal stakeholders
- You monitor the market environment and provide well-founded recommendations for appropriate measures and activities
- You work closely within the team, share your knowledge and strengthen our learning culture through proactive collaboration
- You represent us at trade fairs, conferences and local symposia
- You document customer activities carefully and provide regular reports to management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Medical or pharmaceutical background and OR experience, preferably in orthopedics
- Completed certification/qualification as a Medical Device Consultant/Representative in Orthopedics and/or Trauma Surgery
- Ideally an existing customer network
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Good IT and MS Office skills and commercial/business understanding
- Innovative, creative and proactive approach with a willingness to learn
- Analytical thinking and strategic business acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Empathy and team spirit
- Strong technical skills and technical understanding
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory
