About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides senior leadership for security strategy, operations, and risk management across the Asia‑Pacific region
- Responsible for protecting employees, assets, products, and information while enabling business growth
- Lead and execute the APAC and China security strategy
- Oversee physical security, travel security, crisis management, and incident response across APAC markets
- Assess and mitigate regional security risks
- Serve as the primary security advisor to regional leadership
- Lead and develop regional security teams and external security partners
- Establish governance, standards, and metrics for security practices
- Partner with Legal, HR, Supply Chain, IT, and Business leaders to support secure operations
- Manage investigations, executive protection, security incidents, and crisis response activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business, Criminal Justice, International Relations, or a related field (required)
- Typically 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, risk management, or related leadership roles
- Strong understanding of geopolitical risk, crisis management, and security operations in complex markets
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and operate effectively in a matrixed organization
- Experience managing third‑party security providers and external stakeholders
- Language: English proficiency required; Mandarin or other APAC languages preferred
- Up to 25–30% international travel across APAC and China
