About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute the Emerging Markets Surgery pricing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Define and maintain pricing architecture across franchises, product categories, and market segments.
  • Lead value-based pricing approaches for existing and newly launched products.
  • Establish regional price corridors and guardrails to optimize profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for margin expansion through pricing excellence initiatives.
  • Partner with franchise leaders to evaluate portfolio opportunities, lifecycle pricing decisions, and market dynamics.
  • Own regional pricing governance processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and global pricing principles.
  • Drive standardization and simplification of pricing decision-making processes across Emerging Markets.
  • Provide strategic guidance on high-value tenders, large contracts, and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Develop frameworks for deal assessment, scenario modelling, and pricing risk management.
  • Lead development of pricing dashboards, KPIs, and business performance metrics.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor pricing movements, reimbursement changes, and healthcare trends.
  • Lead pricing strategy for product launches and portfolio expansion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Global Pricing, Marketing, and Market Access teams to establish launch price recommendations.
  • Identify and lead pricing transformation initiatives that improve capabilities, tools, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop regional pricing talent and foster a high-performance team culture.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Experience in pricing & contracting strategy, process implementation, capital monetization, new product introduction, or related roles within the medtech or healthcare industry with a minimum of 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Success in leading pricing initiatives, capital monetization projects, and process improvements that support business growth.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and pricing tools (e.g., pricing software, ERP systems) is preferred.
  • Strong project management abilities with the capacity to balance multiple projects and work with various teams in different regions.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to advise and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in change management and driving organizational transformation initiatives globally is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance issues specific to healthcare pricing and capital monetization is a plus.
