About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies in collaboration with Field Sales Organizations (FSO) to support sales growth objectives.
  • Ensure that all operational processes, particularly in inventory management, are effectively supporting the assigned accounts and field territories.
  • Analyze operational data to provide insights to FSO Leadership, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to enhance inventory efficiency and address analytical needs across the US FSO leadership.
  • Oversee the management of orthopedic consignment inventory and equipment, ensuring optimal par levels while minimizing waste and excess.
  • Lead inventory rebalancing and allocation strategies to efficiently meet the demands of the business.
  • Coordinate the launch of new products and their deployment to assigned accounts.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation and support throughout the introduction phase to optimize uptake and sales.
  • Partner with various departments, including FSO, Marketing, and Supply Chain, to enhance workflow and efficiency.
  • Mentor and train team members on operational protocols, inventory management systems, and compliance standards.
  • Identify opportunities for operational enhancements, implement best practices in inventory management, and lead process improvement projects that drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory and operational efficiency.
  • Regularly report on progress and outcomes to senior management.
  • Proactively identify and report on market trends that could impact inventory management and FSO operations. Adapt strategies to meet changing market conditions and customer needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Logistics, Operations, Healthcare Management, or related fields, with a focus on inventory management and sales support.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects that drive operational improvements and sales growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using advanced Excel, Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems, particularly SAP.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards related to inventory management and supply chain processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities and projects.
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry.
