About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead therapy development to make Impella and Heart Recovery the ANZ standard of care by training clinicians, deploying toolkits, and building regional peer networks.
- Design and enforce clinical training and sign‑off pathways for physicians and support staff, tracking competency milestones and compliant documentation.
- Drive account adoption by prioritizing target hospitals, coordinating with commercial teams, and enabling clinical readiness and case reporting at key centres.
- Provide hands‑on clinical support in cath lab/OR/ICU, perform after‑action reviews, collect outcome data, and implement improvements to optimize patient outcomes.
- Forge strong partnerships with commercial and clinical stakeholders through weekly alignment, quarterly strategy meetings, and shared quality‑improvement initiatives.
- Travel across ANZ/APAC to monitor programs, lead trainings, support emergency cases, and scale therapy adoption regionally.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Healthcare degree (BSc/MSc; PhD preferred) with 10+ years in healthcare/device and 5+ years clinical leadership.
- Clinical expertise in cardiology/cardiac surgery; hands‑on support in cath‑lab, OR and ICU, including emergencies.
- Design and deliver training, competency sign‑off and mentoring programs.
- Data‑driven: collect and analyse outcomes, run after‑action reviews, and make compliant program decisions.
- Strong communicator and influencer: public speaking, stakeholder alignment, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Commercially savvy, results‑oriented, collaborative, and willing to travel across ANZ/APAC.
