About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct pricing analyses to support commercial decision-making, pricing optimization, and business growth initiatives.
- Analyze pricing trends, product performance, customer purchasing patterns, and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare regular pricing reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses for business stakeholders.
- Monitor pricing performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes.
- Support the implementation of regional and local pricing strategies in alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in evaluating pricing proposals, discount structures, tender opportunities, and customer agreements.
- Contribute to the development of pricing recommendations through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Support execution of pricing governance processes and ensure adherence to pricing policies and approval workflows.
- Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario simulations to assess pricing changes, reimbursement impacts, and commercial opportunities.
- Build and maintain analytical tools and market models supporting portfolio management and new product launches.
- Support forecasting and profitability assessments related to pricing initiatives.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Market Access teams to support pricing-related projects.
- Contribute pricing insights during commercial planning, tender preparation, and strategic business reviews.
- Support knowledge sharing and training activities related to pricing tools, processes, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical tools.
- Support automation initiatives using tools such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and other digital solutions.
- Contribute to pricing excellence projects and adoption of best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in pricing strategy and analysis within a complex business environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex pricing challenges and deriving actionable insights from data.
- Proficiency in storytelling and data visualization, with experience creating impactful presentations for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement by implementing best practices and innovative pricing models.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex market dynamics to inform pricing decisions.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Creative and strategic thinker with a strong ability to generate new ideas and approaches to pricing.
- Exceptional communication skills, effectively utilizing written, visual, and verbal methods to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven success in leading both internal and external communications related to pricing initiatives and strategy.
