About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Role will be primarily focused on the Pay Day & Workday Labor allocation intersection
- Engage in creating payroll accounting journals across the full suite of PeopleSoft 9.2 modules.
- Prepare Excel/Pivot charts for daily functioning.
- Processes company’s payroll every pay period in People Soft.
- Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data in People Soft.
- Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
- Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.
- Develop and maintain all relevant documentation, specifically the Global Data Dictionary.
- Ensure that appropriate process and systems controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of master data, including performing & reporting on periodic audits.
- Preparing ledger entries with earnings and deductions.
- Generating payroll reports for Managers to review.
- Attending to payroll inquiries from employees.
- Identifying appropriate use cases, create, and execute UAT test scripts.
- Supporting business initiatives/ support changes.
- Lead Governance Calls/Meetings with stakeholders.
- Participate in data extraction, data conversion, data clean up and system configuration.
- Coordinate & follow up with Cluster PMOs & service delivery teams to drive action items.
- Support new country transitions to Payday process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a payroll senior or similar role.
- Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g. PeopleSoft, Cognos) and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Overall experience required 2+ years, specifically working on PeopleSoft 9.2 for Payroll.
- Operational level experience in handling payroll processes in PeopleSoft.
- Ideally with experience in three or more of the following finance modules for PeopleSoft: Projects, Labor/Resource allocation, Payroll accounting, and billing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
