About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Role will be primarily focused on the Pay Day & Workday Labor allocation intersection
  • Engage in creating payroll accounting journals across the full suite of PeopleSoft 9.2 modules.
  • Prepare Excel/Pivot charts for daily functioning.
  • Processes company’s payroll every pay period in People Soft.
  • Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data in People Soft.
  • Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
  • Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.
  • Develop and maintain all relevant documentation, specifically the Global Data Dictionary.
  • Ensure that appropriate process and systems controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of master data, including performing & reporting on periodic audits.
  • Preparing ledger entries with earnings and deductions.
  • Generating payroll reports for Managers to review.
  • Attending to payroll inquiries from employees.
  • Identifying appropriate use cases, create, and execute UAT test scripts.
  • Supporting business initiatives/ support changes.
  • Lead Governance Calls/Meetings with stakeholders.
  • Participate in data extraction, data conversion, data clean up and system configuration.
  • Coordinate & follow up with Cluster PMOs & service delivery teams to drive action items.
  • Support new country transitions to Payday process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as a payroll senior or similar role.
  • Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g. PeopleSoft, Cognos) and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Overall experience required 2+ years, specifically working on PeopleSoft 9.2 for Payroll.
  • Operational level experience in handling payroll processes in PeopleSoft.
  • Ideally with experience in three or more of the following finance modules for PeopleSoft: Projects, Labor/Resource allocation, Payroll accounting, and billing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
