About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own Microsoft Purview configuration and administration: Configure and manage capabilities such as sensitivity labels, retention, and DLP
- Translate governance requirements into technical solutions: Develop scalable configurations aligned with privacy and compliance needs
- Test, validate, and optimize controls: Troubleshoot issues and ensure consistent, reliable performance
- Partner with IT and Security teams: Support implementation, changes, and ongoing improvements
- Support audit readiness and governance reporting: Ensure controls are defensible and aligned with compliance requirements
- Enable stakeholder understanding and adoption: Communicate how controls work and their impact in practice
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years’ experience in information governance, data protection, security, or a related field
- Previous experience supporting a Microsoft Purview implementation or rollout
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview or Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities
- Strong understanding of information governance principles (classification, retention, data protection)
- Relevant certifications
