About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Interpret customer requirements from RFPs and other solicitations.
- Collect and consolidate cost, schedule, and performance data from functional departments.
- Select appropriate pricing methods for each proposal item.
- Apply escalation, quantity-variance, and extended-cost factors to required quantities.
- Produce consolidated Bills of Material (BOM) to support price and cost analysis.
- Participate in pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
- Support audits, negotiations, and certifications while ensuring TINA compliance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Operations Analysis, Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant professional experience OR Master’s degree in related field with 3+ years of experience.
- Level 4: Bachelor’s degree in related field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience OR Master’s degree in related field with 6+ years of experience.
- Proven business-management and labor/non-labor cost-estimating experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel (including data transformation & normalization).
- Experience leading projects and/or managing others.
- Working knowledge of government and commercial contracting/subcontracting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for informing, presenting, negotiating, and problem-solving.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.
