Product Designer

• You’ll execute and support UX and digital product design work for responsive ecommerce experiences across mobile and desktop, ensuring our digital experiences are simple, intuitive, engaging, and brand-right
• You’ll manage design tasks from brief through launch, including creating sketches, user flows, wireframes, and final design specs, while partnering on user research and QA support
• You’ll identify, plan, and solve design problems, translating customer insights and feedback into design solutions that improve the shopping journey
• You’ll support the building and updating of digital experiences, collaborating with engineering and product to utilize Shopify, GemPages, or similar ecommerce/CMS tools to ensure design intent matches implementation
• You’ll collaborate with your manager and functional leads to set up, QA, launch, and iterate on A/B tests and other digital experiments based on your designs
• You’ll partner regularly with peers across Ecommerce, Digital Product, Creative, Brand, and Engineering to bring new digital experiences and optimizations to life
• You’ll utilize customer insights, analytics, and test results to inform design decisions and consistently identify opportunities for improvement
• You’ll proactively participate in retrospectives and team discussions to identify gaps and make recommendations that improve our UX and digital workflows
• You’ll embody Away’s core values and actively help maintain our design system, UX patterns, and digital design standards to ensure consistency across customer touchpoints and how Away shows up across them

Digital Product Designer

Community Manager

• You'll execute daily community management across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, ensuring a consistent and culturally relevant brand presence
• You'll write thoughtful, on-brand responses to comments and DMs, proactively engaging with audiences to build meaningful connection and participation
• You'll moderate conversations across channels to maintain a positive, elevated, and brand-safe community environment
• You'll route customer service and support-related inquiries to appropriate teams while maintaining a polished, empathetic, and reassuring tone
• You'll maintain and update the social content calendar in partnership with the Social Media Senior Manager, ensuring alignment across campaigns and priorities
• You'll handle content scheduling, publishing, tagging, QA, and end-to-end channel execution across platforms
• You'll support creative ideation and briefing for social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest
• You'll monitor trends, cultural moments, creators, and conversations to identify timely opportunities for brand participation
• You'll surface community-driven content ideas, reactive opportunities, and audience participation concepts to support ongoing content strategy
• You'll support community experiences and micro-events in partnership with the Community Manager, helping bring engagement initiatives to life
• You'll ensure all published content aligns with brand voice, visual identity, and platform best practices

Social and Community Coordinator

• You’ll execute and contribute to the design and innovation strategy for core luggage product lines, evolving existing platforms while identifying whitespace opportunities for future growth
• You’ll manage the luggage design strategy in executing seasonal creative direction and long-term category goals, in close alignment with the VP and Senior Design leadership
• You’ll translate consumer insights, travel behaviors, and market trends into scalable, production-ready design systems
• You’ll champion elevated product concepts, new functionalities, and disruptive design thinking within the team to push forward product innovation
• You’ll build, manage, and mentor a high-performing design team, providing tactical creative direction and cultivating a culture of technical excellence
• You’ll deliver against a multi-year innovation roadmap through focused industrial design exploration, material R&D, construction innovation, and manufacturing collaboration
• You’ll evaluate and implement new materials, finishes, and component systems that support performance, durability, sustainability, and brand differentiation
• You’ll partner closely with Product Development and Engineering teams to bridge the gap between design intent, technical feasibility, and manufacturing execution
• You’ll manage and continuously improve material libraries, innovation references, prototyping systems, and AI-assisted design workflows to support rapid concept iteration
• You’ll identify and execute opportunities to improve weight optimization, repairability, and sustainability, enhancing the overall customer experience
• You’ll manage the end-to-end luggage design process from concept development and CAD execution through prototyping, sampling, approvals, and commercialization
• You’ll operationalize scalable workflows, documentation standards, and communication protocols that improve clarity and speed-to-market across Design, PD, and overseas manufacturing partners
• You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Brand, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure design integrity and category health throughout production
• You’ll participate in global travel and supplier engagement to drive innovation, sourcing, manufacturing alignment, and competitive research
