About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead engagement with court decision-makers, including executive officers, judges, clerks, and IT directors.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure partnerships with court systems to expand data and document access.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of court access opportunities, supported by CRM tracking and reporting.
  • Develop and execute regional and national engagement strategies, including conferences, roundtables, and direct outreach.
  • Advocate for the shared public benefits of data-sharing relationships and increased judicial transparency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on legal, technical, and operational requirements for court partnerships.
  • Educate stakeholders on how LexisNexis solutions enhance access, analytics, and efficiency within the justice ecosystem.
  • Contribute insights to product and policy teams to inform strategy and ensure sustainable, compliant data acquisition.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven success in business development, government relations, or public-sector enterprise sales, ideally within the legal or technology industries.
  • Strong consultative and strategic selling skills — able to navigate complex stakeholder environments with professionalism and tact.
  • Deep understanding of or curiosity about legal technology, judicial administration, and public-sector data ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of earning trust with senior judicial officials.
  • Highly self-motivated and organized, able to manage long sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the U.S. for meetings, conferences, and stakeholder events.
