About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform day-to-day operational support in the data center environment
- Respond to incident tickets, service requests, and change orders
- Install, rack, mount, cable, and decommission hardware
- Monitor data center infrastructure and respond to alarms
- Support emergency response efforts and preventative maintenance activities
- Maintain asset management records and track inventory
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or colocation environments
- Working knowledge of data center operations and hardware installation
- Experience with server, storage, and networking equipment
- Understanding of structured cabling systems, including installations and management
- Experience using ticketing systems and asset management platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
