About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform day-to-day operational support in the data center environment
Respond to incident tickets, service requests, and change orders
Install, rack, mount, cable, and decommission hardware
Monitor data center infrastructure and respond to alarms
Support emergency response efforts and preventative maintenance activities
Maintain asset management records and track inventory
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or colocation environments
Working knowledge of data center operations and hardware installation
Experience with server, storage, and networking equipment
Understanding of structured cabling systems, including installations and management
Experience using ticketing systems and asset management platforms
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
