About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide enterprise-wide oversight, insight and recommendations which drive the direction of the UK change portfolio, by applying rigorous analysis to maintain a clear, evidence-based view of critical delivery milestones, costs, risks and outcomes including benefits and OKRs.
  • Perform deep analysis of portfolio performance to identify deviations, trends and systemic issues, translating findings into actionable insight for book of work validation, prioritisation and investment decisions.
  • Lead portfolio reviews with Domain Leads, delivering robust challenge and critical assessment to ensure delivery plans are credible, value-driven and aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Support the resolution of delivery constraints through analytical problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring initiatives deliver their intended strategic value.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in Portfolio, Programme, Project, Transformation or Change Management within a complex organisation, with responsibility for governance, delivery oversight, portfolio reporting or investment decision support.
  • Demonstrable experience providing critical analysis and insight to senior management or executive committees to inform prioritisation and funding decisions.
  • Experience working across multiple business or technology teams, building effective relationships, constructively challenging delivery plans and influencing decisions to improve outcomes.
  • Education Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in Portfolio, Programme or Project / Change Management, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
