About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on imaging equipment across multiple modalities, including MR, CT, X-Ray, and advanced diagnostic systems.
  • Deliver timely and effective repairs as well as training of operators to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Manage financial performance within their territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management.
  • Manage company assets for delivering effective service.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments needed.
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.
  • General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
