About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the preparation and design of drawings for urban infrastructure projects
Produce plan drawings using Civil 3D
Work with the project team on plan design, preparation of specifications, studies, meetings, etc.
Prepare quantity estimates
When required, perform construction monitoring to ensure work conforms to plans and specifications
Produce detailed and photographic reports of site activities
Coordinate among the various technical stakeholders (designer and laboratory)
Compile and reconcile quantities with the contractor
Produce deficiency lists

Requirements

What you’ll need

College diploma (DEC) in Civil Engineering technology or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in urban infrastructure. Experience in consulting engineering is an asset
Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTURN and the Microsoft Office suite
Certificate in general construction site health and safety (ASP)
Recognized by your peers for strong organizational skills and commitment to quality work, a high capacity for learning, ability to work in a team, and excellent oral and written communication skills
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
