About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic business development initiatives with key accounts to expand remediation services across New England
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with power, industrial, commercial, and government clients
- Identify, pursue, and win new opportunities by leading proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and interviews
- Collaborate with regional teams to align on growth strategies
- Maintain awareness of client needs, regulatory trends, and emerging opportunities
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff
- Support technical excellence and innovation within the remediation practice
- Perform quality assurance/quality control reviews and approve environmental deliverables
- Support and ensure the implementation of Stantec Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) Policies in the execution of all work
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong focus on remediation and client management and growth
- Demonstrated success in business development and project management
- Experience working with state and federal regulatory agencies in New England
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification, with Annual Refreshers is required
- A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are required
- Pre-employment physical is required
