About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the development of design plans for transportation projects
- Support and coordinate work with multiple engineering disciplines, as well as drafting/CADD work for the project
- Perform engineering calculations, interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and assist with proposal preparation
- Work with a team of designers to successfully deliver projects
- Learn from senior project engineers or project managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Self-starter with the ability to work with a team
- Proficiency with Bentley’s MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) software
- Good communication skills, multi-tasking, attentiveness to detail
- Open to learn new skills and interface with multiple project managers
- EIT or EI certificate is preferred
- A Bachelor of Science or a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of transportation infrastructure experience required
- Experience performing work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment
