Project Manager

• Responsible for managing complex tasks on medium to large size projects
• Plan, organize, and direct the work throughout the life of the project to successfully deliver the project to the client
• Keep the Principal in Charge informed of progress on project expectations, deadlines, and deliverables and understand the limits of the decision-making responsibilities of the role
• Lead the client and project team to assure that the project design meets the client budget, schedule, program, and design intent
• Assist in the negotiation and development of project agreements

Senior Project Manager – Healthcare

Architect

• Responsible for projects of large and medium complexity/size.
• Inspire creativity, critical thought and design excellence both internally and externally.
• Conceptualizes a building design from both a functional and aesthetic perspective in concert with a client’s requirements, budget and program.
• Develop a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats to express the design intent and communicate to project team, client, and building user groups.
• Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.
• Participate in design critiques and constructability reviews.
• Present the design with the Project Manager and collaborating Design Architect to stakeholders during early project phases. Develops building design in accordance with cost parameters.
• Develop space planning, block planning, and adjacency diagrams in coordination with building program.
• Evaluate and select building systems and materials.
• Coordinate building systems to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
• Implement sustainable design principles into the design and environment.
• Analyze site incorporating geotechnical, hydrological, environmental, social, economic and contextual conditions.
• Participate in development of the program and other pre-design efforts.
• Ensure that design intent is maintained through documentation and construction.
• Responsible for leading others in project team setting and design critiques and pin-ups.

Project Architect – Healthcare

Mechanical Engineer

• You will be responsible for supporting the engineer design efforts with a specific focus on industrial projects such as Semiconductor Manufacturing, Data Centers, and other Advanced Manufacturing projects
• Knowledge in scope definition, design schedule management, coordination with other disciplines, design document creation, and quality reviews
• Coordination with department heads for resource allocation
• Budget tracking throughout design
• RFP scope definition and resource estimation
• Performing engineering studies for highly technical clients
• Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents
• Oversee load calculations, systems design, cross-discipline coordination, and signing and sealing of contract documents

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Electrical Engineer

• Establish schedules and provide regular maintenance of design schedules;
• Coordinate cross-discipline design activities;
• Perform site surveys using basic surveying tools and electrical safety equipment;
• Prepare site analysis reports regarding the feasibility of proposed projects and potential issues that may arise during construction;
• Prepare project documentation including electrical equipment layouts and schedules, site plans, one-line diagrams, grounding diagrams, lighting plans, fire alarm plans, installation details, diagrams and schematics, and construction specifications;
• Provide construction administration services to contractors;
• Interact with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ);
• Prepare photometric studies;
• Model electrical systems with SKM, ETAP, EZ-Power or other IEEE compliant modeling tools;
• Specify electrical equipment including transformers, switchboards, panelboards, overcurrent protective devices, conductors, raceway, motors, and variable frequency drives;
• Modeling and analysis of normal and emergency power distribution systems, the design of life safety systems, the design and modeling of lighting and associated control systems;
• Coordinate with the Plumbing, Mechanical, Architectural, Structural, and Telecommunication/Audio Visual discipline’s project design teams;
• Mentor and work with junior design staff.

Senior Electrical Engineer

Program Manager

• Executes the business strategy to support the Alaska Native Program initiatives.
• Liaises and provides oversight of activities related to business development, client management, delivery of services and implementation of the Alaska Native program.
• Manages the daily activities of the Alaska Native initiatives in compliance with Stantec policies and practices.
• Works collaboratively with operational and functional services leadership across Alaska, the US West, and Canada to deliver on Indigenous relations functions.
• Participates in short and long-range planning, establishing Indigenous related priorities and business development opportunities.
• Engages and collaborates with local, regional and national leaders in Indigenous engagement to inform strategy and practice.
• Ensures compliance with and updating of company polices, administrative guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Communicates with leadership via monthly updates.
• Identifies key clients (federal, commercial, energy, etc.) in sectors relevant to the region and maintains a list of key clients.
• Collaborates with Indigenous communities and Stantec business units and contractors to identify and develop opportunities for building capacity, business development and collaboration.
• Supports Stantec practitioners to develop effective, respectful, and sustainable relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations and businesses.
