• **Your Opportunity**
• Stantec is looking for a full-time professional with strong project management and roadway engineering capabilities to lead various-sized roadway study and design projects for state departments of transportation and local municipalities. As a project team leader, the Project Manager will work closely together with a project engineer, roadway designers, traffic engineers and other team members to deliver location and alignment studies, preliminary and final design plans, and other technical documents common to roadway engineering projects. The Project Manager will serve as the primary client and public facing contact for the project. The Project Manager will provide supervision as needed; act as an advisor and be actively involved in meeting schedules and resolving problems as they arise. They will be responsible for managing the scope and integration of subconsultants and employees. It is also anticipated that the Project Manager will support business development and the delivery of proposals.
• **Your Key Responsibilities**
• - Performs on technically complex projects and acts as a technical resource by providing guidance to other team members on roadway-related projects.
• - Liaise with clients, agencies, and others to obtain and determine project requirements and approvals.
• - Assists in the preparation of client proposals, reports, and the development of project design elements.
• - Leads a project team in inventorying and analyzing existing project conditions and determination of the project’s purpose and need
• - Leads a project team in identifying and analyzing principal design features and alternatives
• - Leads a project team in the development of feasible design alternatives to be compared against significant project parameters such as site conditions, right-of-way requirements, utility conflicts, design standards, safety, capacity, environmental impacts, community input, and cost.

Roadway Project Manager

Designer

• Work with guidance on tasks and smaller projects
• Develop and optimize mechanical and plumbing components and systems

Program Manager

• Support leadership of Stantec’s team providing On-Call environmental clearance support for an electric utilities’ vegetation management program, poles and wires distribution program, hydrogeneration program, and transmission undergrounding program.
• Responsible for budget forecasting, invoice review, and achieving financial goals.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to the client.
• Pro-actively identifying client needs and programmatic initiatives required to address potential program delivery risks and challenges.
• Lead and be actively engaged with client relationship building and maintenance.
• Leading and overseeing the work of a multi-disciplinary team and sub consultant team.

Visualization Artist – Visual Impact Assessment

Architect

• Keeps the Project Manager informed of progress on expectations, deadlines, and deliverables that fall within their responsibility
• Participate in team meetings, charrettes and coordination sessions
• Assists in monitoring and coordination of consultant work and deadlines
• Assist project teams in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats
• Utilize Autodesk Revit and other BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components

Water Practice Lead

Engineer

• Consistently demonstrate a commitment to the Health and Safety culture within Stantec
• Take a self-directed role and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines effectively; provide timely and concise feedback to supervisory staff.
• Contribute to conceptual design basis reports, engineering assessments, data analysis and design calculations.
• Prepare detailed technical analysis of existing or in support of the design of drinking water facilities.
• Contribute to the preparation of construction specifications, tender documents, and applications for approvals to regulators on behalf of municipal clients.
• Support the preparation of engineering calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Maintain positive relationships with municipal clients, vendors, consultants, and regulators as needed always using a professional communication approach.
• Conduct occasional site visits to support proposals, project development, or business development.

Drinking Water Treatment Process Engineer

• Align appropriate resources and technical support for project backlog and business development opportunities

Team Lead – Site Investigation and Remediation

• Directly support archaeological Field Directors and Project Managers by assisting with pre-field planning, cultural surveys, shovel test pits (STPs), test excavations, and monitoring of construction activities.
• Identify, document, and record precontact and historic-era cultural resources, including built-environment resources, in accordance with state and federal standards.
• Complete detailed field documentation, including site records, feature forms, Munsell soil descriptions, sketch maps, and photographic logs.
• Employ digital site mapping tools (ESRI Field Maps, Survey123, ArcGIS Online, etc.) and GPS/GNSS units with sub-meter accuracy.
• Conduct desktop research as needed, including record searches, archival reviews, and preparation of DPR 523 forms or equivalent state records.
• Support archaeological impact assessments and contribute observations to site significance evaluations under NRHP/CRHR criteria.
• Prepare accurate, timely deliverables, including daily logs, monitoring reports, and HSSE documentation.

Archaeologist – On-Call

• Join a collaborative team focused on ecology and wetland sciences.
• Work includes wetland delineation, ecological assessments, and regulatory compliance for diverse projects.

Environmental Scientist

• Prepare contract drawings, schematics, schedules, details, and sketches from conceptual design through to construction.
• Assist in the design of building related mechanical systems including HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems using applicable codes, standards, and reference materials.
• Review equipment selections, perform preliminary engineering calculations, and develop preliminary designs.
• Produce aspects of mechanical design and drawings in REVIT, as well as in AutoCAD.
• Work closely with the Lead Designer and Mechanical Team in recommending the best use of project tools to achieve project objectives, troubleshoot and resolve issues with the project tools.

Intermediate Mechanical Technologist

• Develop conceptual designs into detailed technical models
• Collaborate with the Fabrication team to determine optimal build strategies and fabrication details
• Output both client-facing and internal clean, accurate 2D technical drawings from 3D models
• Generate comprehensive project documentation, including parts lists, exploded-view diagrams, and fabrication specs
• Outline material, dimensional, and hardware requirements
• Output CAM-ready files for CNC, 3D printer, and other digital fabrication tools
• Safely operate woodshop equipment
• Support troubleshooting and meticulous maintenance of our CNC machine, laser cutters, and 3D printers

Senior Fabrication Designer

• Responsible for the overall project performance and implementation of project management frameworks.
• Primary point of contact and representative to internal partners and clients.
• Serve as the technical lead for the project team preparing civil engineering design documents.
• Manage multiple projects with day-to-day oversight managing the approved scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop, track, update, forecast, and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases.
• Communicate project status regularly with clients, project teams, and leadership.
• Review and approve all invoices and change orders associated with the project.

Senior Project Manager, Community Development

Compliance

• Provide senior-level environmental compliance support for industrial and energy-sector facilities
• Help clients manage obligations across air quality, storm water, wastewater, spill prevention, waste management, and related regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and support permit applications, renewals, modifications, technical reports, and routine compliance submissions to state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Provide technical support on air compliance activities including emissions inventories, stack testing coordination, permit reporting, visible emissions observations, and implementation of applicable federal and state air requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, and related compliance plans; provide technical oversight and certification support where professional engineer credentials are applicable.
• Conduct or support environmental inspections, compliance audits, and field assessments, and prepare clear, defensible documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
• Support coordination with regulatory agencies during inspections, permit actions, incident response, and follow-up communications.
• Support spill response, remediation, waste handling, and corrective action activities, including notifications, documentation, and contractor oversight.
• Manage assigned project tasks, schedules, budgets, and deliverable quality for environmental compliance, permitting, and related consulting work.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and contribute specialized expertise as needed to support client delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, operations personnel, contractors, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver practical, client-focused environmental solutions.

Senior Environmental Compliance Consultant

Electrical Engineer

• Guides the technical design of data center projects as a subject matter expert.
• Delegates, leads, and directs work of Project Engineers and Designers.
• Conceptualizes, executes, and ensures quality throughout the design process to meet clients’ needs.
• Assists the business development team in new project pursuits by providing input on RFPs/RFQs and participates in project interviews and presentations.
• Manages technical project process and scope of work within own discipline; reviews and tracks scope, schedule, and budgeted hours; finds and resolves all inconsistencies with project manager.
• Delegates tasks to project engineers and designers within own discipline as appropriate.
• Follows quality management process; conducts project reviews and approvals before all QA/QC reviews done by the technical authority.
• Builds and maintains strong client relations; able to understand and articulate project and design requirements, progress, challenges, and troubleshooting to clients and technical staff.
• Leads technical discussions and mechanical workgroups with project stakeholders as their trusted advisor, identifies key requirements, and adapts design accordingly to meet project objectives.
• Coordinates well with all disciplines to fully integrate work and client requests into design.
• Acts as supervisor and resource to technical design team; supports and assists staff education, training, and development.
