About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead fundraising strategy and relationship-building efforts in support of Bringing Hope Home’s mission
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate sponsors and community partners
Manage relationships with individual donors and prospects
Develop donor communications and impact reporting
Research prospective foundations and grant opportunities
Lead fundraising strategy and sponsorship efforts for the annual Baltimore Hope Dinner
Maintain donor database and fundraising records

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
3-7 years of nonprofit fundraising, business development, or relationship management experience
Experience with sponsorship sales, donor cultivation, or event fundraising
Familiarity with donor CRM systems such as Bloomerang
Existing Baltimore-area corporate and philanthropic relationships
Experience managing fundraising events or galas
Knowledge of healthcare, family support, or mission-driven nonprofit sectors
Strong communication and presentation skills
Compassion, empathy and connection to the BHH mission a must
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong collaborator
Excellent writing and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be a self starter, with the ability to work 90% remotely
