About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assisting the audit team management in planning audit engagements
- Performing or supervising staff auditors in the testing of controls based on audit program directions
- Drafting audit issues under the supervision of the audit team management
- Assisting the audit team management in the reporting and wrap-up phases of audits
- Performing other duties as requested by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than five years of applicable experience
- Relevant Financial Service Industry knowledge (e.g., Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Investments, Treasury, Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk) including knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory trends
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
