About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build relationships with customers via in-person, appointment, and virtually
- Provide counsel while adapting a digital first mindset
- Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs
- Process customer and account information
- Recommend solutions based on customer’s goals and needs
- Maintain working knowledge of banking products and services, including digital offerings
- Provide optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing transactions
- Educate clients on digital products and services
- Collaborate with branch team members and partners to serve clients
- Open new consumer and business accounts and complete service requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has a minimum of one to two years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Basic knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
