About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The ABL Portfolio Manager partners closely with Relationship Managers and Business Development Officers to effectively manage a portfolio of ABL credit relationships.
  • The role supports revenue growth by deepening existing customer relationships and collaborating with Underwriting to close new business opportunities.
  • Manages an assigned portfolio by monitoring credit risk, ensuring compliance, and supporting customer credit needs through underwriting and transaction execution while partnering with internal teams.
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships, escalates risk concerns, collaborates across functions, and supports team development through mentoring and training.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience.
  • Three or more years of ABL portfolio management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of ABL commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures and products, including financial statements, field exams, appraisals, and borrowing bases.
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
