About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the acquisition, expansion, and retention of new Payment business, including Merchant, Treasury Management and Card products.
- Focus on outside sales and proactive prospecting to acquire new business clients.
- Contact existing and prospective clients to provide consultative advice on the business cash conversion cycle, working capital management, and internal processes to develop Payment business.
- Collaborate with Business Banking Relationship Managers to manage relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct receivables and payables business operating cycle analyses for identified client relationships.
- Provide consultative feedback and product/service recommendations to clients for process efficiencies.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue goals and retention objectives.
- Build relationships in the community and engage with local organizations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven years of related experience
- Proven sales, prospecting and new business development skills
- Advanced knowledge of Treasury Management and Payments
- Strong client service and relationship skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to teach customers how to use digital technology
