About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Underwriting new cash flow LBO & private equity backed transactions.
  • Portfolio management activities for the General Industries team.
  • Performing due diligence and preparing internal credit approval documents.
  • Completing required portfolio reviews and processing of incremental credit extensions.
  • Communicating with key stakeholders throughout the underwriting process.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in leveraged finance at a commercial bank, investment bank or finance company with strong commercial credit experience.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial statement modeling.
  • Experience underwriting middle market cash flow transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
  • Graduate of a formalized credit training program is preferred but not required.
