About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of environmental programs
  • Monitor for changes in federal environmental regulatory requirements
  • Assist in development of environmental policies, directives, standards and guidance
  • Continually improve and manage Information Services for compliance assurance
  • Develop and/or enhance existing environmental training programs
  • Provide technical and regulatory assistance to field operations
  • Develop and execute routine communications with Corporate and Area management
  • Support and manage our HBU laboratory program consultant
  • Facilitate routine team meetings with key stakeholders
  • Oversee and support E-Manifest program requirements
  • Identify opportunities for HBU program efficiency and optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited)
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • 4 years relevant work experience
  • 7 years environmental experience with at least 5 years of proven leadership related experience
  • 2 years solid waste/landfill experience
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Must live and work in the U.S.
