About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and continuous improvement of environmental programs
- Monitor for changes in federal environmental regulatory requirements
- Assist in development of environmental policies, directives, standards and guidance
- Continually improve and manage Information Services for compliance assurance
- Develop and/or enhance existing environmental training programs
- Provide technical and regulatory assistance to field operations
- Develop and execute routine communications with Corporate and Area management
- Support and manage our HBU laboratory program consultant
- Facilitate routine team meetings with key stakeholders
- Oversee and support E-Manifest program requirements
- Identify opportunities for HBU program efficiency and optimization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (accredited)
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
- 4 years relevant work experience
- 7 years environmental experience with at least 5 years of proven leadership related experience
- 2 years solid waste/landfill experience
- Strong technical writing skills
- Must live and work in the U.S.
