About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Completes field inspections and related responsibilities such as reading maps and aerial photos
Measuring fields, storage bins, and discussing findings of crop loss with farmers on complex claims
Convey complex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry people on claim situations
Performs fact finding regarding crop damage, records information and transmits loss information
Completes claim reviews and audits on lower-level adjusters as assigned
Ensure legal compliance by maintaining a strong working knowledge of regulatory and company policies and procedures
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or Equivalent
6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area
Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained with 180 days of hire date
Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles
Ability to climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet
Ability to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions
