Mechanical Engineer

• Build and maintain reliability block diagrams and fault tree analyses across the full MEP service chain, from utility intake to rack-level IT load, running Monte Carlo simulations of at least 100,000 iterations to produce P50/P90/P95/P99 availability distributions.
• Own the reliability study at each 30% and 90% design gate for Fluidstack's own templates, and run independent reliability assessments of EPC-proposed, colocation, and acquired-site designs benchmarked against Uptime Institute Tier III/IV classifications.
• Manage third-party reliability consultants and review their RBD, FTA, and Monte Carlo work for methodology soundness, turning identified single points of failure into prioritized design recommendations before capital is committed.
• Maintain the reliability model, component data, and full audit trail inside Windchill PLM, and produce availability statements, sensitivity analyses, and FMEA summaries for lease documents, SLAs, and investor materials.
• Feed live-site failure and repair data from Operations and Commissioning back into the models, track modeled availability against measured uptime across the portfolio, and translate the components driving unavailability into maintenance, sparing, and capital allocation recommendations such as N+1 versus 2N.

Reliability Engineer, Data Center Design

• Deploy and commission cooling and mechanical systems at data center sites, running equipment startup, functional testing, performance verification, and acceptance testing through to live handover.
• Support operational reliability of deployed cooling infrastructure, responding to thermal events and equipment failures on live sites and implementing fixes that prevent recurrence.
• Resolve field conflicts between installation conditions and mechanical system requirements during commissioning, keeping deployments on schedule.
• Monitor and validate thermal performance of cooling systems under live AI compute load, flagging degradation and driving corrective action before it affects availability.
• Contribute to mechanical commissioning checklists, startup procedures, and maintenance run books that improve consistency across future deployments.

Mechanical Engineer, Deployment Engineering

• Lead end-to-end deployment and commissioning of mechanical and cooling systems across concurrent sites, from pre-deployment readiness through live handover to operations.
• Own operational reliability of cooling infrastructure across the live fleet, diagnosing thermal performance issues and implementing fixes that hold at scale.
• Build and maintain mechanical commissioning standards, acceptance test procedures, and runbooks for cooling systems (chillers, CDUs, direct liquid cooling) that site teams run independently.
• Serve as the on-site technical authority through equipment startup, performance validation, and load testing, resolving field failures before they delay handover.
• Set and enforce mechanical reliability standards across the portfolio: preventive maintenance thresholds, redundancy validation, and performance benchmarks under live AI load.

Electrical Engineer

• Lead end-to-end deployment and commissioning of electrical power systems across concurrent sites, from pre-deployment readiness through energization, acceptance testing, and live handover
• Own operational reliability of electrical infrastructure across the live fleet, leading root cause analysis on power events and implementing corrective actions that cut repeat incidents
• Build and maintain electrical commissioning standards, acceptance test procedures, and runbooks covering MV distribution, UPS, switchgear, and rack-level delivery

DevOps Engineer

Lead Controls Systems Engineer, Deployment Engineering

• Own the fire protection scope of design packages from concept through construction documents across the data center portfolio, designing and specifying VESDA and addressable fire alarm, pre-action sprinkler, wet pipe, and clean agent suppression systems.
• Serve as Fluidstack's primary point of contact with local fire marshals and AHJs on every site, running plan reviews and negotiating code-compliant equivalencies on non-standard designs so permitting stays off the critical path.
• Develop campus-level fire suppression strategy, coordinating water supply, distribution, and system redundancy across multiple buildings and phases of a build-out.
• Review and approve fire protection submittals and shop drawings from EPC and equipment vendors, and validate third-party consultant designs for code compliance and consistency with Fluidstack standards before they advance to construction.
• Support commissioning of fire detection and suppression systems with the Commissioning Agent, resolving test failures before sign-off, and provide fire protection input on capacity additions, retrofits, and incident-driven remediation on live sites.

Fire Protection Engineer, Data Center Design

• Deploy and commission electrical power systems at data center sites, running equipment testing, protective relay verification, switchgear and transformer startup, generator load testing, and acceptance documentation through to live handover.
• Support operational reliability of deployed electrical infrastructure, responding to power events and equipment failures on live sites and implementing fixes that prevent recurrence.
• Resolve field conflicts between installation conditions and electrical system requirements during commissioning, escalating with a clear description and proposed resolution.
• Validate protective relay settings, UPS performance, and generator transfer sequencing against operational availability requirements.
• Contribute to electrical commissioning checklists, energization procedures, and reliability run books that reduce risk across future deployments.

Electrical Engineer, Deployment Engineering

• Deploy and commission BMS, SCADA, and EPMS systems at data center sites, running FAT, field integration, loop checks, sequence verification, and acceptance testing through to live handover.
• Support operational reliability of deployed control systems, responding to alerts and failures on live infrastructure and implementing fixes that prevent recurrence.
• Resolve field integration issues between control system layers and connected mechanical and electrical systems during commissioning, escalating with a clear problem description and proposed fix.
• Configure and verify control sequences, alarm setpoints, and data historian integrations against operational requirements.
• Contribute to commissioning checklists, acceptance test procedures, and runbooks that speed up and standardize future deployments.

Controls Systems Engineer – Deployment Engineering

• Own architectural conformance across active construction sites, verifying that building envelope, life-safety assemblies, and spatial layouts match approved specifications and closing deviations before they hit operations or permitting.
• Drive AHJ and permitting execution at each deployment site, including inspections, code interpretation questions, and certificate of occupancy sequencing, to keep permitting on schedule.
• Manage the architectural RFI and submittal process during active construction, coordinating with the engineer of record and contractors to resolve field conflicts without slowing the build.
• Enforce FM Global envelope and life-safety compliance through contractor-driven field conditions, tracking and closing open items before substantial completion.
• Own the architectural punch list at each site from substantial completion through final acceptance, and feed field observations back into prototype specifications and deployment standards.

Architect, Deployment Engineering

Transportation Coordinator

• Book and schedule shipments across the network, coordinating pickup and delivery windows directly with the carrier and receiving sites.
• Track every shipment in transit through the transportation management system, checking ETAs against committed windows and flagging at-risk deliveries before they hit a site.
• Chase missed SLAs to root cause with the carrier and drive each one to resolution, not just a note in the log.
• Own the day-to-day relationship with our dedicated carrier: rates, capacity, service issues, and escalations.
• Keep shipment and carrier performance data current in the TMS and turn it into a running view of who's hitting SLA and who isn't.

Engineer

• Design pick, pack, receiving, and RMA workflows for each site's warehouse layout, optimizing for travel distance, throughput, and dock-to-floor time.
• Run time and motion studies on warehouse and dock processes, and use the data to set the standard work each site trains against.
• Model rack, dock door, and staging layouts for new and existing sites, balancing throughput against real estate cost.
• Build the process documentation and standard work instructions that let a new site ramp to full productivity in weeks, not months.
• Partner with the WMS and IMS system build teams to make sure new tooling matches the physical workflow, not the other way around.

Industrial Warehouse Engineer

• Lead the controls design development team, owning the template designs, SOOs, points lists, BOMs, and Division 25 specifications that every modular data center build inherits.
• Set the technical direction for controls design, deciding the standards, platforms, and reference architectures the whole fleet builds from.
• Drive design decisions to resolution across mechanical, electrical, commissioning, and construction, so controls design is never the thing holding up a site's schedule.
• Grow the team, hiring controls engineers and raising the bar on the design work they produce.
• Own the quality and repeatability of every design package that leaves the team, so the hundredth site is designed faster and cleaner than the first.

Systems Engineer

• Lead the conceptual design, development, and implementation of data center control systems, including Chilled Water, HVAC, Power Monitoring and Data Hall Monitoring.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior engineers on the controls team.
• Develop control system architectures, functional specifications, and detailed system designs.
• Program and configure PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMIs to meet project requirements.
• Support control system simulations, factory acceptance testing (FAT), construction and commissioning activities at greenfield data center deployments.

Control Systems Engineer

• Create template controls designs for our fully modular data center builds, so one validated design set deploys across every site instead of being redrawn project by project.
• Write sequences of operations that define how the mechanical and electrical systems run, and hand them to the programming team as the source of truth for the code.
• Build the standard points lists and bills of materials that lock the instrumentation, IO, and controls hardware every modular build draws from.
• Own the Division 25 integrated automation specification end to end, keeping it current as equipment, vendors, and site designs change.
• Coordinate the controls design across the mechanical, electrical, and commissioning teams so it matches the equipment it will run and the tests it has to pass.
