Security Operations

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Security Operations Centre, ensuring high-quality security monitoring, incident response and threat detection services.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching to SOC Analysts, supporting their development and driving consistent investigation standards.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex or high-priority security incidents, providing technical oversight and coordinating response activities.
• Oversee incident investigations using Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring incidents are accurately prioritised, investigated and resolved.

• Ensuring that the contracted scope of support for designated Customers is clear and understood
• Engaging with designated Customers on a day-to-day basis, acting as a key point of contact for queries, requests and escalations

• Supporting the relevant Technical Lead conceptualising and designing complex solutions, covering multiple sites, and including hosted Data Centre infrastructures.
• Technical assistance (and occasional ownership) of project delivery and engaging closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

• Participating in discovery sessions/workshops with business process stakeholders and users to gather/update solution requirements, performing gap analysis between Salesforce capabilities and enhancement needs
