Product Manager

• Responsible for leading, managing and driving sales and profitability of Westlake Royal Building Products’ brands within the Roofing Solutions Category
• Support market research and market analysis for the Roofing Solutions Category
• Contribute to product strategy, oversee project implementation, and ensure successful launch of products
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, engineering, and operations to achieve revenue and profitability goals
• Full P&L responsibility for managed product lines
• Product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle
• Provide effective and timely communications to internal and external customers
• Manage all pre-product launch activities including beta jobs and early-stage activities coordinated with Sales
• Lead and/or support cross-functional teams including members from Manufacturing, R&D, Finance and Sales
• Participate in annual budget creation and manage budget forecasts, spending, and variances for projects or activities related to assigned product lines

Technical Trainer

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert and be responsible for responding to technical, installation and product related questions.
• Prepare and execute installation instructions, guides, videos and other tools for use in the field.
• Develop product training methodology for classroom and field installation training.
• Train installation crews on proper installation technique.
• Train customers and sales personnel on proper installation technique.
• Manage day-to-day issues and work with sales to ensure solutions are achieved.
• Analyze and provide feedback concerning product development and pricing.
• Provide feedback to Product Management, R&D, engineering and quality about product defects, design issues, potential product enhancements and new ideas that solve pain points during installation.
• Collaborate with Customer Care as needed to support warranty claims and customer complaints.
• Work closely with marketing teams for preparation of displays for trade shows as needed.
• Up to 60% travel required with 2-3 overnight stays per week.

Technical Trainer, Roofing

General

• Ensure compliance with chemical regulations across European and Asian markets
• Support product registrations, notifications, and regulatory reporting
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement proactive solutions
• Provide expert guidance to internal teams and customers on compliance topics
• Manage SDS, labeling, and hazard classifications (incl. dangerous goods)
• Coordinate new product approvals and material introductions
• Represent the company in industry associations and collaborate globally

Product Steward, Global Compounds, Europe and Asia

Outside Sales

• Quickly establish strong relationships with all existing customers
• Sell Westlake Royal Building Products’ concrete and clay roofing products from and services to achieve targets/quotas in Westlake Roofing defined segments
• Work with architects and designers so that the company’s products are specified in the original planning documents
• Interpret data obtained from lead generation, industry/market data, research, and other reporting factors
• Consistently drive product performance to achieve market share, sales growth, and ASP
• Develop and maintain territory plans to achieve company and regional business plan objectives and sales goals
• Establish and maintain positive customer relations by regularly meeting and consulting with current and potential customers
• Build a strong rapport with key decision makers within customers’ organizations
• Participate in local building and roofing associated trade shows
• Be well versed in customer business operations and their need for products, intangibles, key personnel, and customers

Territory Sales Manager

Designer

• Serve as the primary day-to-day lab technician supporting Engineering activities
• Weigh, blend, and prepare materials for development trials and testing
• Assemble and test pipe samples in support of R&D, product certification, and plant initiatives
• Perform hands-on technical work including machining, welding, and precision measurements (training provided as needed)
• Maintain lab organization, equipment readiness, and material inventory/flow
• Support prototype development and act as a technical resource for machine shop activities
• Process SAP transactions including requisitions, purchase orders, coding, and invoice tracking
• Monitor and track Engineering project spend and related invoices

Industrial R&D Technician, CAD Designer, Pipe & Fittings

Engineer

• Lead color development and standardization across multiple product lines, including defining tolerances, standards, and best practices.
• Employ advanced technologies for precise color application and matching.
• Optimize color-related costs to maximize performance and value added.
• Implement color standards across the manufacturing organization.
• Integrate color science into product development collaborating across the Roofing and Stone organization.
• Troubleshoot color variation in production, identifying root causes (raw materials, mixing, application, curing conditions, etc.) and implementing corrective actions.
• Design the testing equipment and procedures to optimize our color-related quality.
• Stay informed of advancements in color science to foster innovation.
• Support and improve digital tools and databases used for color formulation and tracking.
• Evaluate, select, and implement color-related equipment (dispensing, mixing, and application systems) to improve consistency and efficiency

Color Engineer
