• Develop and deploy global standards that improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance’s manufacturing equipment and processes

Global Process Engineer – Machining

• Develop, Qualify, and Improve manufacturing processes.
• Define global process standards and equipment standards and deploy them across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders.
• Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including: facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, technical & technology training.
• Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes. Including EHS, Manufacturing Engineers, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Industrialization, Materials, and Sourcing.
• Partner with channels on the development of new repair processes and qualifications.
• Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improve quality processes.
• Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions to eliminate the problems from re-occurring.
• Provide technical support for asset management, including equipment life cycle analysis and spare parts optimization.
• Train local factory manufacturing engineers to deepen their expertise in process and equipment.
• Participate in the design and installation of new equipment and implementation of processes, ensuring reliability is considered from the outset (Design for Reliability).

Global Process Engineer – Welding, Heat Treatment

• Develop packaging, material transportation, material conveyance, & material handling process & equipment standards
• Deploy global standards across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders
• Lead the transformation to move towards automated material transportation solutions including AGVs
• Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including: facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, technical & technology training
• Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes

Global Process Engineer – Packaging, Material Transport, Material Handling

Systems Engineer

• Report to the Control System Application Manager
• Be part of a highly motivated team of engineers working on the design of Control and Protection functions for LCC and VSC HVDC schemes
• Mentor others on existing designs of specified project and functionalities in MATLAB/Simulink
• Transfer designs to the PSCAD simulation environment across the full delivery process life cycle
• Support the business’ Tendering, Operations, Contractual and After Sales
• Prepare responses to technical queries from clients and resolve customer issues

General

• Perform Installation and maintenance service work on Power Transformers and/or AIS circuit breakers & disconnectors and/or GIS switchgear in the high and medium voltage range.
• Install the latest high-voltage technology and keep proven technology running.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning and testing of both AIS & GIS systems, ensuring all activities align strictly with project specifications and manufacturer’ operational procedures and instructions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding HV switching coordination and power control, contribute to site-specific maintenance planning.
